The mechanical meter, replaced. Ultrasound measures the water, a digital display shows the total, and a sealed battery powers it for years. No SIM, no app, no recharge. Same price for 15, 25 and 50 mm.
Wave is read at the meter. If you want daily usage records on your phone, you want Dhaara Pulse

00012.345
Total water used since installation, in m³. This reading = 12,345 litres.
Wave has one price for all three sizes and nothing recurring. Count your inlets, multiply by ₹4,599, and that is the meter bill.
What is not included: thread adapters, reducer bushes, unions, NRV and your plumber's labour. Typical fitting materials run a few hundred rupees per meter; your plumber quotes labour locally.
Your meter bill
Meter price only, incl. GST. Fittings and labour extra. Orders above 20 meters: ask for project pricing on WhatsApp.

Who installs it
A qualified plumber, following our installation guide. Standard threaded adapters on CPVC or UPVC, about 30 minutes per meter, no wiring. We send the guide on WhatsApp.
Site visit
Many installations can be assessed remotely from a pipe photo. A site assessment may be needed for larger lines or multi-flat projects.
Where we are
Designed and built in Hyderabad. Shipped across India in 1–2 weeks. Support on WhatsApp, Mon to Sat, 9 to 6.
Tanker fills and intermittent supply push air through the line. An impeller spins on air and registers it as water; it misses slow drips, and its gears drift as they wear. Wave measures with ultrasound. Nothing spins.
Two transducers in the meter body send an ultrasonic pulse along the pipe, one with the flow, one against it.
The pulse travelling with the water arrives slightly sooner. The time difference tells the meter how fast the water is moving.
Flow is totalled over time and shown on the LCD as volume in cubic metres.

Record the meter reading at the beginning and end of a period. The difference shows the volume of water that passed through the meter during that period. One cubic metre is 1,000 litres.
A leak shows up the same way: a reading that moved when nobody used water. You see it at your next reading. Pulse sends daily usage records to your phone, which helps identify unusual consumption sooner.

The battery is sealed inside the meter and is not user-replaceable. It is rated for 5 to 8 years of normal use. At battery end of life, the display stops and the meter is replaced using the existing compatible connections. Note the closing reading before removal and the new meter's opening reading after.
Not for: tank level, pump control or water quality. Wave is a flow meter. It tells you how much water passed a point in the pipe, nothing else.
Single units available. For multiple flats or supply lines, we’ll help confirm the meter count and installation requirements. Not sure of the size? Send a pipe photo.
Q3/Q1 = R400. Select by flow range as well as pipe diameter.
Installation · Same as Dhaara Pulse
Dhaara Wave installs inline on a CPVC or UPVC supply line with standard threaded adapters. A plumber should confirm size, flow range and installation conditions before fitting. No power wiring is ever needed.
Potable water only (IS 10500:2012). Battery is sealed and not user-replaceable. Opening the enclosure voids warranty.
Same ultrasonic meter inside. Wave has a display. Pulse adds built-in connectivity and daily usage records on WhatsApp, with Basic and Pro service plans.
These are the questions we hear most on the phone, answered the way we answer them on the phone. If yours is missing, ask.
Forty flats with one inlet each is 40 × ₹4,599 = ₹1,83,960, one time, nothing yearly. Orders of 20 or more get project pricing on WhatsApp. Or start with one meter on the sump inlet and add flats as the association agrees.
At your next reading. Wave has no connectivity, so there is no alert. Dhaara Pulse sends daily usage records to WhatsApp, which help identify unusual consumption sooner.
Yes, one meter per inlet, ₹9,198 per flat. Add the two readings. If flats share a riser with no per-flat branch, meter the tower or sump inlet instead; we will tell you honestly if per-flat metering needs re-plumbing.
None. No subscription, SIM, app or recharge, for one meter or a hundred. ₹4,599 is the meter price; fittings and plumbing are extra.
The battery is sealed and rated for 5 to 8 years. At battery end of life, the meter is replaced using the existing compatible connections. Defects in the first year are replaced under warranty.
No. Wave is a flow meter: it tells you how much water passed through the pipe. It does not measure tank level, control pumps or test water quality.
A qualified plumber following our installation guide fits it in about 30 minutes with standard threaded adapters; we send the guide on WhatsApp. Many installations can be assessed remotely from a pipe photo; a site assessment may be needed for larger lines or projects.
Single units are available. Fit one on a flat or the sump line and read it yourself. If it does not do what we say, our return policy applies.
₹4,599 including GST for 15 mm, 25 mm and 50 mm alike. Fittings, unions and your plumber are extra.

Ultrasound measures the water, so nothing spins or wears. A digital display shows the total in m³. You read it, subtract the last reading, and that is the consumption. That is the whole product.
Yes. Message us on WhatsApp and we send the datasheet and installation manual in a minute, no form to fill.
No SIM, no Wi-Fi, no app and no WhatsApp records. Those belong to Pulse. Wave works with nothing but its battery.
